The nodeName property returns the name of a node, depending on its type.
Syntax
Example
The following code fragment loads "books.xml"
into xmlDoc using
loadXMLDoc(), displays the node name and node type of the
root node:

document.write("Nodename: " + xmlDoc.nodeName);
